About Me

My name is Harmony Tarrant, and I am a 25 year old Medical Cannabis Patient. I want to educate people on the benefits of cannabis and how it works.

I was born with something called VACTERL syndrome. After all the surgeries, I was left with severe scoliosis, 2 uteruses and 4 ovaries, and a partially paralyzed intestinal track. I have never lived without pain. The older I get, the more chronic the pain seems to become. I had very little care from 5-19 years old. The care I did find, the doctors and specialists all said I was "too complicated" to treat. In 2017 I was in so much pain from my spine that I couldn't put on my socks without screaming. NSAIDs did nothing for me, even when taking handfuls at a time. Because of my stomach, it's dangerous for me to take something like Opiates. I didn't know what to do; until I saw something in my feed about medical cannabis. I was skeptical--very skeptical. I had family on both sides who were drug addicts, and I've seen the DARE videos in health class. Cannabis is just another dangerous drug, right? That's what I thought. Until I started researching. What finally convinced me about the medical aspects of cannabis was watching senior citizens taking it for their aliments. Watching a video of a kid who was seizing and in real time, they stopped with cannabis oil.

This began my passionate journey of educating myself all about cannabis--and using it for myself. And I want to share what I learn with you. I want you to know, this could be an option for you. And if not, at least we can benefit from this knowledge by telling other people what we know, in the hopes that it could help them; or at the very least, understand the users and cannabis culture that is starting to flourish.
